Kamares Aqueduct

Visitors consistently describe it as far more impressive in person than in photographs, praising its sense of scale and its tangible connection to the past. A small path runs around and through the base of the structure, offering pleasant angles for photography and a short, easy stroll, though visitors note this walkway is not fully constructed or maintained.

The monument is large, well kept and free to visit, making it an ideal quick stop rather than a lengthy destination. Parking is available on the quieter side near the houses and football field, though the rocky car park requires care on entry and exit. Note that ongoing roadworks and fencing along the busy main road have recently affected some visitors' experience.
