The Edro III Shipwreck

The Edro III Shipwreck sits dramatically on the rocky shoreline near Coral Bay in Peyia, Paphos, its rusted hull rising against clear blue sea. Grounded here and never salvaged, the vessel has become one of the area's most photographed landmarks and a magnet for photographers and urban explorers. Entry is completely free and no tickets are required, and you can drive almost to the site for a quick, easy visit.

Most visitors spend anywhere from fifteen minutes to a couple of hours taking in the views and capturing photos, with sunset a particular highlight as the light catches the weathered metal. Nearby cafes and restaurants make it easy to combine the stop with a coffee or meal. Note that facilities are limited — there are no public toilets on site, parking can be tight and the approach road is rough.

The wreck itself is rusty and can be slippery, so sturdy footwear is advised if you get close. It's a memorable, atmospheric stop while exploring the Peyia and Coral Bay coastline.
